Welcome to The Bield

The Bield holiday chalet in Strontian Highlands of Scotland

Overlooking Loch Sunart and situated on the rugged slopes that are the foothills of Beinn Resipole, The Bield has one of the most magnificent settings imaginable.

The chalet stands in one acre of private and enclosed grounds and commands magnificent views over Loch Sunart and the Morvern hills beyond.

The Bield is a timber built holiday cottage, it was designed and imported from Finland. It is constructed and equipped to the highest standards with full insulation and double-glazing.

The accommodation consists of a large living room with kitchen area, bathroom and two bedrooms, each with twin beds. A covered veranda extends along the front of the house, with access from the living room.

The Bield is situated one mile west of the village of Strontian, which is at the inward end of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula in North Argyll in the Highlands of Scotland. It is available for self catering holidays from Easter to October.

Following extensive refurbishment over the last couple of years The Bield has now been upgraded to 3 Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
